I ran the Race to Remember 10k last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. The event was very well organized and the Etowah course was beautiful. This is also a race that supports a very important cause.
From the race organizers:
We are committed to help end Alzheimer’s disease. And you can help!
Did you know that today, there are more than 5.4 million Americans with Alzheimer’s? And as almost 80 million baby boomers age, the disease is a growing threat – and we’re all at risk.
That’s why on October 15,2011 we invite you to team up with us at the Race to Remember 5k Run/Walk & 10k in Etowah, North Carolina benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. With your support, we will be raise money for a great cause. We hope to see you there!
